02.04.2013 - Getting out of Vienna

After a two week rush out of Vienna, selling everything we bought in the last year, only keeping the most important things to start fresh in Hungary, finally our austrian experience came to an end. Its been interesting haha, but to be fair we learnt a lot in such a short time, and we found each other after all, and Vienna gave us the financial income to create our business.

Had a well deserved final party - Lost in Vienna, for one night only - with the people we become friends with during our stay, which led to a very bad two day hangover on our last weekend.  In a way, we were stuck in Vienna because of the three day Easter holiday. We were not able to get our final wages in time, had to give the keys back to the most helpful austrian flat agency with the regret of still having to leave our flat deposit for them till they find someone else for our place. So, thank to Scott, we have been very organised before we got on the train, went to the agency to tell them we are leaving, and force them to give us a written statement about us getting money back from the deposit. After that, we had to take a last visit to Crossfields, where we used to work, sort out our final wage slips. Lets just say, we both feel, we didn't leave from that place the way we wanted to. After handing in our keys, we headed to Westbahnhof to catch our train, with two dogs (one pitbull, one rabbit) and all of our stuff. The train was packed, and Sky was a pain in the ass all the way, till a couple told us at Gyor, that we are sitting on their reserved seats wtf, so had to get up, go to the door, and stand there for an hour and a half with happy drunk hungarians amazed by the dogs, till they both peed in front of their feet. Amazing!! But as all good things, this came to an end, and we jumped in Bori's mom car to go to the Lake Balaton, where we are going to stay in the family lake house till we find a flat in the city.  It was raining really hard when we arrived, getting all the stuff in the house, Tom, one of our friend from Vienna arrived with more of our luggage. The dogs were going crazy in the garden, since this was the first time for them to have this kind of freedom. So, we havent been careful enough with them, left the backdoor open, so when Scott asked were the dogs were, it was already too late, they were gone from the garden. We ran out to the street in the rain and mud, Scott freaking out at his best, shouting in english Ruby and Sky scaring the locals, luckily finding them sniffing around, two minutes from the house. They were not very keen to come back to but our dogs are like our kids to us, we finally have more time to spend with them and train their dirty bums lol. We planned to stay and sort our clothes out, but we have been too stressed and tired (been watching the last 6 episodes of the series 24, could not sleep without knowing whether Jack Bauer saved the world), so we decided to just go to a restaurant and had beers and really nice food. Scott soon realised, that no one speaks english, but the waitress kept looking at him, our guess is either the unknown english language or the never seen before neck tattoos. After this, we only had energy to come back home, try and settle the dogs and fall asleep at about 9PM. Kept waking up at night, taking the dogs out to train them and find out, that Scott cant breathe due to the 50 year old gas heater turned on after 49 years (still cant breathe). To be honest, Bori's mom tried to escape after spending an hour with us and our dogs, but we convinced her to stay...
