Take a risk, live the dream

The whole story goes back six months ago, when we decided to do something with our lives, something that we both always wanted to do. Many years of experience behind our backs, all over Europe,  feeling a bit stuck in Vienna, we had to come up with a new goal to challenge ourselves.  I think most people know how it is to work for other people, having the feeling, that this is something you could actually do on your own, perhaps even better...

Opening a bar in Budapest seemed to be a big enough challenge for us, considering the short time we had actually known each other and been together in a relationship, it seemed an even riskier project. Due to unseen events, we ended up in Hungary three months early, increasing the pressure on us, to create our dream. Not only being in a relationship together but being business partners as well, this was a strain already on our plans. The blog is created to guide us through this process step by step in the next couple of months on our way to open Lost in Budapest, which is going to be the first real international bar in the capital, with the attempt to set up a great gathering hot-spot for tourists, business people or whoever is travelling  through the city, providing a good time and all the information they need during their stay. With all of its ups and downs, things we probably not even aware of, we want people to see how it is possible to open your own business on a small private budget, but with lots of passion and visions towards what you really want to do in life. We try to dream big and get out of our comfort zones. It is a scary project, having no plan B, but we feel with the drive and experience we have, we are going to deliver, we can achieve it, and this summer our bar is already going to be open for the public:).
