Banners are on!!

What a busy day again, I dont really see the end of it, just when we open, maybe we can get back to a routine, but other than that it is non stop work and organising stuff for the Opening. Today we had to get up really early, although I can never get up earlier than Scott of course, he was up for the dogs at 5AM, and than he sorted out some tracks from djs for future Blog adventures music supports. We both felt really disgusting as we had no shower, since there is no hot water at the flat, so we went to the tax office quite dirty, but luckily now it was only about half an hour to get Scotts tax number, and then we just went to the City Hall, to ask someone about the sound check. Well, I, as a Hungarian am aware of how people are in the City Hall most of the time, but since I am home this was the first time to experience it... The woman who is responsible for the license, or I dont even know, what exactly was her job going by the way she treated us she seemed to be in such a bad mood, that even Scott without understanding anything that she said, felt like she was not very nice to us and very unprofessional within her position All we ended up getting out of her was a link for a page where I can get a professionals sound engineer who would check the sound of the bar.

Dj Box Ready!!!!

After looking at the website, I called a couple of numbers, but the offer was around 300 Euro, which seemed really expensive, so we will have to keep on looking, but unfortunately we have to do this for the opening hours no matter how much it costs. After that we made one more trip to Baumax, where we found a very cool table with a bench for the bar, but it was too big to take it with us, so we just pick it up later when I can ask my mom if we can pick it up later in the week with her car . But it was still worth it to go, because we found some very cool stuff for decoration, although there is not much space left for anything on the walls after scotts amazing collection of art attacks :).Before we left the flat we decided it was time to take down all  measurements for all the banners for the bar Dj box banners and outdoor sign so on the way home we went into our local printer shop, Digital press, which is very close to us, and after spending about half an hour explaining what kind of banners, posters and stickers, we got everything we wanted for now. They said, they are going to be ready by tomorrow morning. We were just about to eat something when my friend called, and he was in front of the bar, so we spent about an hour talking about everything, what more can be done, how we are going to work etc, but to be honest, everyone has such good ideas and my head is just full, because there is so much information recently to take in, that I just hope that all the main things are going to get done, and the rest is coming with time.

For food, we chose the Becketts Irish Pub today, it is a very cool venue, but still I didnt have a feeling of sitting in an Irish bar, and it was weird, because although they heard us speaking english they knew I was hungarian, so they spoke hungarian to us straight away. The most international thing was the usual american guy sitting at the bar with his beer, it brought back the memories of serving people and being behind a bar and I cant wait!! Ildi, my friend visited me tonight as well, to see how the bar had  progressed, while Scott finished off one of the paintings,in the entrance hall way we recieved a phone call from the printers with amazement they had finished all of our work already so we just went to pick up the printings as scott was crazy excited about finishing of the Dj box To be honest seeing the banner was the most amazing feeling ever it finally confirmed things in a visual way We put them up straight away and took loads of photos its really crazy to look back now on how much work we have done over the past 7 days and seeing all the results now is very overwhelming. I am so tired, that I have to go now to sleep, and finally Scott is already sleeping, I guess this past 8 days was too much for him too:). Tomorrow morning we have the Internet,Sky Tv and bar phone line connection from TMobile installed  here and we will be searching the net for the right sound check companies trying to find the best price and we have a visit from the plummier at the flat to fix the hot water and scott will be finalising the Dj Box equipment deal with ZAJ DJ 
 
but hopefully now we can relax a bit  more for a couple of days since we have to wait till the company registration goes through so we can proceeded on the bar drinks bar set up and links with all the drink brands. That is all for today, have a nice evening everyone:)!!
