Pub Crawl on a Friday Afternoon

Its been such a long day, I can hardly remember the morning, but it had something to do with Scott telling me early about a sign he put up on the entrance, which is about what we are about to do here and what is the goal of the bar. This way people might take an effort and read it, so they know that it is not a dj club... I couldnt get up off the couch till about 9 or later, when Scott left for the Zaj dj shop to arrange with them the seting up of the dj equipment and the speakers install for tuesday When that was done, I had to go and sort out T-Mobile, because apparently our bill so far in two weeks has been too high for a new contract, so we had to pay the bill so far. Also, something very weird happened with the T-Home system, because when the mechanic guy finished yesterday, he said, that he has problems with downloading the system, so he is going to leave it now and come back later to finish it. He was very nice and a funny guy, but since then his phone is not reachable, I mean it is ringing, but he is not picking it up for me, and before the line was busy, so he was on the phone, but he didnt pick it up, so it just got very weird. I went to T mobile, and they said, I should ring the customer service, but they are just impossible to get through and robot voice keep saying that our contact code is not valid. So here we are with no TV, and we have to go back to the shop once again to fix it.
Instant
Anyway, we managed to have a busy day again and we decided to do our price menu for lost scott came up with a price bar crawl search, so we went around six local bar venues  to see what they can offer and the atmosphere they are working in I think Scott just wanted to get drunk lol. Since we are here it is funny, but we havnt been anywhere apart for going for food, and although we have done it during the day at 5pm, it was still fun to do it. We tested 6 places  we still have one in the pocket at 11pm, Alterego, haha. So far, we have been to SOHO London, Cheers, Tuborg, Maci, New Heaven, Instant all in our neighbourhood. It was quite early, and we went to SOHO London first, because we have been curious about this place, since it has a nice bar and has a similar concept in a mean of hungarian and english connection. Unfortunately it was closed, because they had a private event going on, so we only wrote down a couple of drink prices so we can compare with the other places. Just across the street, there is Tuborg brewery, where they have beer taps on the tables and you can pour your own beer. It is crazy how cheap they are, all the long drinks around 350 HUF, and of course they are able to keep the beer price very low as well... The waiter was nice, the only thing was that while we were there, a big group of english guys came in and in Hungary they dont seem to have that type of service where you encourage people to stay in the bar for more drinks. So after one beer they already left. I always had that in Amsterdam, getting the big groups in sometimes have them there all day, giving a really good service and have a good time. But for this you have to be motivated to sell and serve the customers. From here, we went to the cheers pub, which is very very cheap, considering its location, but during the day it is full of elder men sitting there watching football, we have to say it was the busiest bar at that time of the day. Scott was in a very adventurous mood, and he ordered vodka energy drink, non of the ingredients were known by us, so we drank it quick, but couldnt finish it, and moved on to our next bar. We decided to go to Maci, which is a very cool place, yet that was empty too. We just had our usual shot, Sambuca with Baileys and had a quick chat before we left. Maybe it is not so easy to judge the places when it is during the day, but it shows a very different sides of the venues. We have been to Instant, which is totally different from us, but still the prices are very interesting for us to see. And also, it is funny how clean and tidy it looks in the afternoon, and when it gets full of people, it creates that ruin bar experience. The prices range is quite big, depends on the character of the bar, I think what we want to do at the beginning is to set it in the middle, but not being too cheap or too expensive. We are not going to do a happy hour, we dont really feel like that it would suit the place, but we are planning to have special drink offers every night. It has been very useful to go around, not to mention, that we got drunk by 6pm, so at least we relaxed a little bit.
I cant really say how overwhelming this whole project is, every day, we have something that comes up and we have to take care of, and it just seems never ending even with this speed, we are doing it. We put almost everything aside, which we shouldnt really, but we just want to be open and than get into a routine. As the saying says every beginning is hard, and ours feels very hard at the moment. It is scary on many levels, so there is nothing else to do but to hope and believe that it is all going to worth it in the end. So much more to write about, so I will be back later with the story of the rest of the weekend, because it has been way too eventful!!
